Ordinarily oracle universal installer (OUI) automatically
runs oracle database configuration assistant (ODBCA) during installation unless
otherwise stated that only software should be installed.
Note that when you create a new database, the new database typically
use the same oracle home directory as the first database but stores database
data-files separately from the first one.
Starting Oracle database configuration assistant (ODBCA)
Log on to your computer as an administrator that is authorized
to install oracle database software.
On the Ms windows operating system, click start, select
programs or all programs on which case it maybe. Then select oracle HOME-NAME,
then Configuration and migration tools, and then Database configuration
assistant.
On windows 8, from the start menu type database
configuration assistant and it will bring out the app for you.
